Since her speech at the Awards Ceremony hosted by Vision On Mission one week ago, the Honourable Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has been quoted in every media house in the nation.
Much of the attention has focused on the strategies she indicated her government is adopting to curb the rate of re-offending by prisoners.
One of the strategies which has attracted public attention is a promise of a grant of up to $5,000.00 for ex-prisoners to aid them in the process of reintegration.
